Elizabeth Day (Cintamani) has been aBuddhist practitioner for sixteen years, including six as an ordained member of the Amaravati and Cittaviveka (Chithurst) Theravada monastic communities in Britain.
She has a doctorate in cultural studies and teaches and practices psychotherapy in Melbourne. She is currently editing a collection of writings by Buddhist women practitioners.
