Jarāmaraṇa is Sanskrit and Pāli for "old age" (jarā)[1] and "death" (maraṇa). In Buddhism, jaramarana refers to the inevitable end-of-life suffering of all beings prior to their rebirth in the cycle of saṃsāra.
