This is an unaffiliated meditation group. The facilitator has 40 years experience of meditation and is acquainted with the main practice traditions including Theravadin Vipassana, Zen, and Mayayana/Vajrayana shamatha-vipassana, as well as "secular" meditation for wellness and pain control. The focus of this group is shamatha-vipassana and metta (loving-kindness) practice and welcomes individuals of any lineage or no lineage. Meetings are on weekday nights, at least twice a month, are free, and are in public venues. The schedule is subject to change, so check the website for up to date information (posted April 2008).
