Mudra
(skt.: mudra; tib.: chag gya) Literally seal, token. A symbolic hand gesture, that represent doctrines, mental states, or important concepts in Buddhism, endowed with power not unlike a mantra. Can mean also spiritual consort, or the bodily form of a deity.
