Woinishet Snyder (1961-) is a landlord. She lives in Las Vegas and owns Sun Chase Apartments. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Vipassana Foundation.
She earned a full scholarship to a university / medical school in the former Soviet Union. From there she immigrated to the U.S., first in Washington, DC and then later in Portland, Oregon. She has also lived in Denver, San Diego, Santa Monica, and Las Vegas.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in the natural sciences from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.
She invested in real estate, purchasing apartment buildings in Portland, Oregon and then later also in the other cities mentioned above with her husband, Dr. David N. Snyder. The income gained from their business was utilized in the spreading of the Dhamma with the opening and operation of Buddhist centers and the publication and distribution of Dhamma books.
